Shows and Conferences

For every specialty of medicine there are local, regional, and national shows and then for general fields like Radiology and Cardiology there are again local, regional and national shows or conferences.

The largest conference in the USA is the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) but its effectiveness and attendance is falling, and although we have attended in the past its use for us would be for acquisition candidates so we should attend as we approach this goal.

The largest show in the world is MEDICA which is held in Düsseldorf mid November. This show is large because it includes everything for the hospital including bed sheets.

Arab Health covers the middle east and is held in late January.

Local and regional shows have much better sales success  in actually attaining orders and when possible are the responsibility of OEMs or representatives but we will often be called upon to supply equipment and attend.
